Originates from Isle of Ely in Cambridgeshire but we know little of its history. Rhubarb was grown in that area in the 1830’s but there is no mention of this particular variety.
Ben Says – This one is great foor cooking, works well in crumbles and pies! Grows well in most soils. One of my favourites. Highly recommended for its great flavour.
